Responsible Gambling

Keep it Fun

Make sure you gamble responsibly

Gambling is a fun social activity enjoyed by many in a good and safe environment and we want it to be fun for our players.

If you are not having fun whilst gambling, are becoming agitated or angry and blaming others when you lose, you should stop. These are signs that you need to take steps to address your gambling.

Play with your head, not your heart

Gambling excessively can be an escape from other issues or pressures in your life. There are various reasons why players spiral into problems, gambling away winnings, only going home when all their money is gone.

For a very small number of people, the temptation may be too great and gambling may start to cause problems in other areas of their lives.

At Club Liberte we want you to enjoy your time with us and we do not want you to gamble beyond your means

Do you recognize any of these warning signs?

  • Spending more than you can afford, borrowing money you cannot repay
  • Hiding your gambling from family and friends
  • Does your gambling come before everything, even work and family
  • No time for family and friends
  • Does your gambling cause you stress and anxiety

Getting help

Admitting to a problem is your first step to help and we are here to help you. If you think you have a problem with your gambling speak to a Manager or a staff member. We will treat any conversation with the utmost discretion.

This will not be an issue for most people, but here are some helpful tips before you start gambling.

  • Set a financial limit at the casino gaming tables or slot machines and stick to it.
  • Take a cooling off period from playing at the casino to allow you to think things through and get support.
  • Talk to a family member, a reliable friend or a doctor about your gambling and how it is affecting your life.
